April 11, 2022Ms. Susan Henke earned a Bachelor of Science in Child and Adolescent Studies from California State University, Fullerton, and holds a Human Resources Management Certificate. Her diverse educational background enhances her ability to support both the developmental needs of children and the organizational aspects of educational settings. She brings over 10 years of experience in teaching Pre-K and leadership in early childhood education. Her background in both classroom instruction and administration has equipped her with a deep understanding of child development, fostering an engaging and nurturing learning environment for young learners. Some of her goals include fostering an inclusive school culture, supporting student achievement, and promoting a growth mindset to cultivate academic, social, and emotional development.
Ms. Susan is from San Diego and spent her early years in the Bay Area and Orange County. Together with her husband, she is raising their three children with a philosophy of “leading through love and nurture,” fostering a supportive and caring family environment through life in positivity. Ms. Susan values the importance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being. She actively engages in Pilates and yoga to stay fit and centered and finds clarity and relaxation through shopping.
In her free time, Ms. Susan is a dedicated ball mom whose sons share a deep love for baseball. Family time is a top priority for her, whether it’s cheering at Padres games or traveling throughout California and Arizona finding tranquil time with family and friends. Beyond the ballparks, she is an adventurous foodie who loves exploring new dining experiences, whether it’s discovering local speakeasies or visiting wineries. Her passion for travel often leads her family to tropical island destinations, where they enjoy immersing themselves in the local culture and cuisine.
