Ms. Courtney Lopez

Ms. Courtney Lopez brings a strong academic foundation to her work with children, having earned a cum laude Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Her ardor for working with children ignited while working in a toy store. Passionate about child development and well-being, her future goals include pursuing a Master’s degree to further her expertise in either occupational therapy or as a school counselor or therapist.

Ms. Courtney is originally from Edmonds, Washington. She embraced a change of scenery by relocating to Oceanside post-graduation. This move allowed her to escape the Arizona heat, explore a vibrant new city, and begin anew in different surroundings.

In her free time, Ms. Courtney enjoys diving into fantasy books, staying active, cherishing moments with friends and family, exploring farmers’ markets, and embarking on Saturday morning quests for the perfect matcha latte at new café spots.
